This is politics masking as science. The data on the fluoridation of water supplies are clear and consistent. The controversy is the reddest of red herrings, and is just a hackneyed conspiracy theory. The opponents present no evidence for their assertions, as usual. Back to real business.

Halvorson mostly wants the fluoride tank for chlorine. The city needs a new tank and this would save $200,000. Money is tight due to the golf court problems and the previous decisions the city council has made by firing and giving out settlements as well as spending too much on the interim city manager.
