Settlement would be a wise decision; however they are in this lawsuit because they have made unwise decisions!! Not settling will be their newest unwise decision.
Nah, these folks won't settle. It takes courage to admit one might have erred. To simply be up front and honest with the folks who elected you when they ask you questions. And once serving one should adhere to the very well established and frankly obligatory requirement that any gathering of a quorum of a city elected body that doesn't occur in public, when decisions are made behind closed doors, is a clear violation not just to the oath of office but also I would consider it a moral lapse. Ethical failure.
I've followed the allegations made by plaintiffs. I've tried to follow defendants statements, their grievances. I know only from watching your Council mtgs and from the really good reporting by Andre anything about at all about this case.
And based on trying to understand, I haven't failed to offer my comments, meaningless as they are and certainly not solicited. I truly am hoping this goes to court. In fact, the plaintiff's in this matter I consider to be real hero's. In fact, if you folks over there want to name a street, do it for them.
If I lived over there, thank goodness I don't, and sat back and didn't work to stop one crony of the four being elected and allow a incumbent to be re-elected, I'd be ashamed of myself.
You folks need to do everything you can to restore sanity to your elected City body. Get out and work hard. Get folks to do their civic duty, make them aware of what's going on, hopefully they will take and interest and vote to make positive change in your City elected body. Failure is not an option folks.
Then you can come over here and help straighten out our problems with my blessing.
They are working hard at trying to silence anyone speaking out against them. They are defaming other candidates to their unhinged followers… we won’t be silent no matter who they come for :-)
The defendants have only one incentive to settle. That would be if Boudreau loses the election to Nichols. That's why they're campaigning so hard for Boudreau...they need him to hold the majority, to keep the lawsuit pending forever. It's not costing them any money, but it's costing taxpayers a lot.

This is a very generous settlement offer from the plaintiffs.

The corruption runs deep. Allegedly;-)
Allegedly of course :)
They should settle.
How much chance is there that defendants will admit they were wrong?
