Thank you, André. I just wish the County right wingers could read this and at least take all into consideration. Wishful thinking. Also unfortunate is that I believe they have ceased to subscribe to and read The Daily News.

I’ve known Amy for several years through our involvement in the WSU Cowlitz Cty. Master Gardener Program. Amy is a hard worker, she is smart, has experience that would serve our county well, and she is a good person. Amy has my vote. Thank-you Andre for writing why Amy is best for Cowlitz County Commissioner, Position 2.

Well, as we used to say, "There it is". Once again, Andre says what needs to be said and eloquently made the case for Amy. He's spot on as to why we need Amy on the BOCC. Who she is, experience, qualification, and most importantly, that she will work to return sanity to the BOCC.

I've observed her opponent for some time. You know what? I simply don't understand why he's even running. Is it ego or anger? It certainly isn't his interest in serving in the best interests of everyone who lives in this County. In fact I don't think he has a fundamental understanding of how BOCC serves, or rather should serve our County.

But here's the real problem we face even if Amy is elected. If Mike Reuter isn't elected, she will have no ability to have any positive impact. Everything she could accomplish won't happen. Reuters opponent is nothing more than a Mortensen clone, perhaps even more extreme.

Yes, we must see Amy elected but it's critical that Mike Reuter is as well. Other wise, we'll see more of the same, and actually, it'll be worse.
