There is the cost of the severance packages to the city attorney and assistance city manager which almost total $300,000. There’s the need to hire the accounting firm. There is the cost of permanent one of hiring a fin Which is an ongoing cost that’s new because Kris Swanson handled that duty self. Then the cost of hiring a contract lawyer, but I don’t know how that compares to the cost of having Dana Gigler on staff.. Said he says yet to pay $100,000 severance package to Swanson. Her claims continue and will likely be much higher than that. and then, of course, there is the cost of the lawsuit which we have no idea about for now. Finally, the city hasn’t been able to sell the bonds to pay for work already under contract and with plans for next year. So this means that will be delayed, likely, resulting in higher costs, or higher bond ratings. This is a complex Web that’s going to take sometime to settle out. I’ve written before that the cost will be a minimum of half a1 million. I could approach 1 million eventually. We’ll have to see.
