“Bad politicians are elected by good people who don’t vote.” We’re here today because 2/3 of eligible Longview voters couldn’t complete a ballot mailed to their home with return postage paid. Voters, in large numbers, can reduce the Gang of Four to the Disgruntled Three in November. Let’s do this!
It seems to me the defendants are just trying to drain the finances of the plaintiffs. The public will eventually pay a price for this effort, even if the voters speak.
Is there a way to prevent delays? Getting a new attorney will probably cause another one since he has to take time to get up to speed on the case. It seems like a judge could set a date for something and use fines or jail if it isn’t done.
I have the records and used them to total up the charges to the city. I have all the invoices except for one submitted this spring. The number of hours billed is disclosed, but the nature of the work in those hours is blacked out.

Maybe we can ALL be above the law just like our “leaders.” Spencer Bodreau is the ring leader. Vote him out in November.

Are the amounts paid for the legal bills, public record? Where can that be found? Thanks for keeping attention on this.
Michael, this is where you can request public records: https://longviewwa.mycusthelp.com/WEBAPP/_rs/(S(srm0g2evltrgdsxe4fcehpdk))/supporthome.aspx
And yes, amounts paid for legal bills are public records just like email and texts exchanged between council members and staff are public records.
