Andre, gotta tell you for us folks here in Kelso we are concerned about our one Council race that will be on the ballot. And the fact is, it's as critical for us as the Boudreau race is over there in "This is a City Council Lulu Land"????
Lefebvre has been on Kelso Council for even longer than I have and yet hasn't proposed a single item, a single program, or suggested a single solution to any of Kelso's problems that I can recall. She votes, but I'm not sure she grasps the issue before Council when she votes or what the consequences of her ill informed vote may have. And she is our Rep on the CAP board. But that's it. That's her record after years on Council.
The Lefebvre seat needs to be filled with someone who can actually understand our cities problems and work towards realistic and doable solutions.
There is only one qualified candidate for this seat on Council and that's Jackie Collins, former Council Member and one of the best to ever hold office in Kelso.
Among the many great things she did for our City as a Councilor, she guided our town thru the "Great Landslide", you folks may recall that terrible event. Over two hundred homes lost. A whole neighborhood disappeared in that disaster.
At that time she was the leader on Council, the key voice on Council to ensure Kelso and the folks impacted by that disaster got our and their needs met and that was a truly difficult task.
She's everything a Council Member should be and ought to be. Our City needs her.
Please vote, we must get rid of MAGA in our government
