Thank you for clarifying these initiatives intent.

What's interesting to me is that Mr Walsh was a sponsor of HB1677 which has the stated goal of increasing government transparency.

So I wonder, which is it? Transparency for campaign finance but let's obscure the cost of our tax cuts to the 1%?

Why any voter would want to make taxes cheaper for the ultra wealthy is beyond me. The entire tax system, top to bottom, was written for the wealthy, by the wealthy, to keep their actual tax rate lower than the most destitute.

Seems like a rules for thee, but not for me situation.

Why would anyone vote for a Representative who would hide information from the voters?

Thank you Andre for exposing this.

I am just guessing but I can only visualize what can be explained in 15 words. The climate claims are false. Carbon Dioxide is increase is a net good for our tree growing state. Do your homework on taxes. The rich are paying more than their share by a long ways.

So you think that rising sea levels, increasing flooding, ocean acidification, rivers turning orange due to permafrost melt, catastrophic wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, diminished crop yields, economic decline and other fallout of climate change are not real?

The portion of wealth owned by the richest Americans is obscene, and at least on a federal level the rich pay far less in taxes than they used to. So I find it impossible to agree with you.

Andre just listen to the 120 minute movie: (theclimatemovie.net) that explains what is causing the climate to change. This is produced by Tom Nelson who has collected comments from over 200 concerned scientist over the last 15 years. The title page has a video by William Happer laying out the real science of carbon dioxide. Its warming ability was exhausted many years ago.

Larry, when I have a minute, I will try to watch the movie you recommend. However, I want to emphasize that my story was not about the merits of climate change theory or any of the other initiatives. It was about whether the voters are gonna have access to enough information to make intelligent choices. In an ideal world people would educate themselves before filling out their ballots, but I think you and I can agree that that is probably not the case.

I mean, he couldn't possibly be serious, right?

For what it's worth, Andre, I believe the intent of the comment was to describe what they felt the 15 word description would end up being. Or at least what it would be if Jim Walsh could write whatever he wanted.

I could be wrong, but that's how I read it.
