While I hate to see the city of Longview suffer these consequences it's something that must happen to check this kind of behavior. These people are literally acting lawless and having the nerve to act like they're standing in service of it. I told LaFave tonight that this corrupt bullshit was going to cost her and her response was asking if that was a threat and to yell for the police. Cowards of the first order and unfit for duty.
The most egregious abuse of authority I’ve seen in my 40+ years in local government. Hopefully accountability will be swift and painful for this cabal.
This is not a rash group. The perpetrators are expecting this to blow over. It won’t. This is what democracy and accountability look like.
